Adrian Vaca is a uniquely qualified composer, producer, and musician with the skills to produce music for every avenue of the music industry. After graduating from the Colburn School of Music he decided to further his studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Adrian has gone on to produce and compose music professionally for commercials, films, radio, and privately commissioned pieces. One of his latest works was commissioned for the High Museum of Atlanta and was part of an art exhibit showcasing the incredible work of Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera. This piece was nominated for the MUSE award. In addition to composing Adrian has performed at such prestigious venues as the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek Theatre, Gibson Amphitheatre, Santa Barbara Bowl, Ford Theatre, Anaheim Pond, & The Shrine Auditorium. Most recently Adrian made appearances in an Oreo’s commercial, on The Food Network’s show Rachael vs. Guy, The HBO series Enlightened, and he even had the esteemed pleasure to play with Bono of U2.

▶︎ 2004-2008 Berklee College of Music, Boston MA

While attending Berklee Adrian had the opportunity to score a wide range of projects including: Jingles for Nintendo GameCube, Re-write musical cues for movies like Gothica and Back to the Future. Commercials for Osh Home and Garden, Gortex men’s wear and featured music for Classical ensembles as well as Jazz bands. One of Adrian’s arrangements was selected by esteemed composer Richard Evans to be recorded by a professional studio orchestra. He arranged “Over the Rainbow” in a Quincy Jones style and had the honor of conducting his own music during the recording session. Berklee staff and other professionals from around the Boston Area performed this composition. Adrian was also arranging albums for local singers in Los Angeles while still at Berklee.

▶︎ 1997-2001 Adrian has been performing professionally since the age of 14.

He is still the youngest member to ever join the renowned Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez. During his time with the band he had the opportunity to perform at some of the countries biggest venues along side the greatest Latin artist of the time. Juan Gabriel, Vicente and Alejandro Fernandez, Ana Gabriel, and Marco Antonio Solis to name a few.

▶︎ 2008-2014 Adrian directed his own professional Latin bands.

One of which is now considered the best Mariachi/Orchestra in the LA area, Voces de Mexico. He also innovated a new stream of Latin Fusion in Buena Vibra Ensemble. Buena Vibra fuses mariachi, jazz, rock and pop. These bands consistently perform on television, commercials, HBO series, and radio which gives Adrian the opportunity to continue scoring for film and television.
